Micro Inverters are simple and very easy to use. No need to programme, literally just plug up to 2 of our 300w panels then the ac output can be wired and plugged straight into the nearest empty socket. No batteries or charge controller required. The house will consume all energy produced by the micro inverter first. The only accessory you need which is not included in the kit is an M25 Adaptor plug which we stock in our shop. Just wire a normal AC cable to it.

I originally used this setup. Our smart meter showed a negative power symbol when we started producing more electricity then we were using but we were not charged for this.

I’ve now changed my home setup to an inverter and battery system. This way excess energy is being sent to the battery instead of going to the grid for free, probably the only flaw in this system. Not so much a problem if your able to manage when you use appliances.
